Ranthambhore was favourite jungle for hunting of the Maharajas of Jaipur in former time but this time it is one of the major and famous wildlife sanctuary in India for tourist attracts all over global. Ranthambhore was established as Sawai Madhopur games sanctuary by government of India in the 1955. It was declared the tiger reserve in 1973 and it declared national park in 1980. Ranthambhore National Park is known for its Tigers, variety of other wildlife and sees for these royal predators in the park but it is mostly famous for Royal Bengal Tigers. You can easily spotted tigers and much more wildlife during your visit time. This National park is covered an area of 1,334 square kilometre and it is 200 to 300 meter above see level. Ranthambhore National Park attracts wildlife lovers, nature lovers, film makers and photographers from domestic and global. The jewels of this National park encompasses like 300 various species of plants but ’Dhok’ is main noticeable and attracts plant of the park, 272 various species of birds, 15 various species of reptiles and 30 various species of mammals. Ranthambhore have different populations of wildlife and animals but mainly such as Royal Bengal Tigers, Hyenas, Leopards, Jackals, Wild Boars, Cats, Sloth Bears, Chital, Mongooses, Sambars, Indian Hares, Nilgais, Deer, Crocodiles, Monitor Lizards, Elephants and much more. This National park is also a house to a variety of colourful and beautiful birds. You can sees great birds like Great Crested Grebe, Sandpipers, Gulls, Darters, Flamingos, Egrets, Indian Gray Hornbills, Asian Palm Swift, Bee Eaters, Common Kingfishers, Snipes, Nightjars and Finches in the park. The list seems to be endless. Here you can also find some historic place, which is very wonderful and charm so it attracts tourists and historical lovers. Historic place like Jogi Mahal, Ranthambhore fort, Bakuala, Kachida valley, Lakarda Anantpura and Padam Talao etc are the most famous one. Ranthambhore fort is one of the oldest forts of Rajasthan and it was constructed in the 10th century. The Jogi Mahal is most famous for its second biggest banyan tree in India. Best visit Time – best visit time in the Ranthambhore National Park is in November to May but November and May are very important month, because this time nature of dry deciduous jungle makes visiting common.
