Did you get a job opportunity in a new country or you got transferred to an altogether unknown place for a year or two? Whatever may be the circumstance responsible for moving, a furnished apartment is a bliss in disguise. There is no point of moving with your sofa and dining table to a distant place, where you won't even stay for more than a year or two. Even though, you do not need to bring heavy items, but you still have to carry a few things to settle down at the new place comfortably.

These things are a necessity, even if you are on a holiday with your family. We all have this habit of using certain things that we own. Having decided to live in a fully furnished apartment, you would have to bring a few things along. Generally people opine that they need not carry anything while moving in a furnished apartment. Well, actually, you will be needing a lot of things when you move in.  Some of them are listed below:

Cleaning Supplies:
After you rent a furnished apartment, the owner may or may not get it cleaned properly before you move in. So make sure that you carry cleaning supplies with you, for instance, some good quality toilet cleaner, scrubs, brush and some bleach.

Grocery items
Do carry some kitchen items along with while moving in a furnished apartment. No doubt, the kitchen has all necessary appliances, but it would not have grocery. What if you started to feel appetite in the middle of the very night, when you moved in? You must have some necessary food items at hand, so that you can cook something if needed. Bring in some pans and ready meals so that you need not rush to a nearby departmental store in the middle of the night.

Toiletries
Come what may, we all use our own toiletries. So , do not forget to bring in towels, rugs, soap and toilet paper, as the first thing you would feel like doing after a long journey, is to take a shower.

Do bring bedsheets, the apartment will have beds only. You must bring in your own blankets, if you move in winters. Do carry things like vegetable peeler, cups, cutlery and food storage containers, serving utensils, broom, mop and vacuum cleaner. An alarm clock and extra batteries will help to get up on time to make preparations for office. Carrying these things would make sure that your stay is comfortable and you will feel like living in a home away from home.
