The city of Khartoum is a metropolis by nature and it follows all the rules that are associated with the name afore mentioned. It is a large sized city when it comes to area and population. It is growing in the same way at an amazing rate. The businesses are really booming in the city and also the rate of growth of population in the same way. The sprawling huge city has many offerings. The city is situated near the “white Nile” that mixes into the main Nile River and goes forth towards the Mediterranean Sea.The climate of Khartoum is very hot and arid and the air is very difficult to breathe in. the same case of precipitation in common here as is with nearly every city of Africa. Temperature is so hot that it is almost unbearable. The temperature is stubbornly stuck with the highest 30 degrees and absolutely refuses to slow down testing the patience of the city people. You can easily consider this big famous city as the hottest ever city in the history of mankind. And I say hot in the terms of temperature, mind you. Khartoum has been developing with immense speed. It has the top educational institutes of Sudan. The high schools, universities and colleges are very well reputed and provide high standard education. Science, IT, engineering, languages, medicine and religion are the fields these universities offer. Some universities and schools are separate for boys and girls.The transport system has developed with high speed in Khartoum. Three airports provide connection with international territories. Inter city connection is developed by building many bridges across Nile. Railways also connect Khartoum with Egypt and rest of Sudan. For tourists there are many attractions in the city. There are many museum, cultural centers and buildings with splendid architecture. There are huge shopping centers and supermarkets for shopping. Presidential palace is an impressive building and changing of guards is a ceremony that is very interesting to watch. There is a family park in the outskirts of the city having rides and ferries.
