And because of these massive rains, the area has got one of the most amazing rain forests of the world by far. The jungles are so fresh and lush that they look absolutely refreshing to the eyes. Kinshasa is the second largest city in the Sub Saharan Africa and third largest in the continent.It lies face to face with the Brazzaville, capital if Republic of Congo. It is the only location in the world where two capitals are facing each other on two banks of a river. Rather a quite unique quality. Congo River is the dividing factor in this case. Kinshasa is both a city and a province just like Paris.Kinshasa holds many important buildings and a few skyscrapers as well.Supermarkets, hotels,plazas,Kinshasa Museum and Kinshasa Fine Arts academy show us that development of city is on a positive road. We find high level schools, colleges and universities offering vast subject selection like journalism, engineering, medicine, nursing etc. Arts schools are well reputed and quite famous. Kinshasa has a strong media. There are many radio stations and television stations.They broadcast throughout the city. Press is also very strong in the city.State controlled Press agencies provide daily or weekly newspapers and news websites. BBC news is also available on radio of Kinshasa.
